Zach Bryan has unveiled an historic show at Ann Arbor's Michigan Stadium alongside John Mayer, Ryan Bingham and Joshua Slone, marking the venue's first ever concert.
The Oklahoma megastar will take the stage at the home of the Michigan Wolverines on September 27th, 2025, with tickets set to go on-sale this Friday, February 14th.
Taking to Instagram, the ’I Remember Everything’ underlined how excited he was to deliver this momentous show, “Playing in Ann Arbor with some heroes and good pals of mine! Tickets go on sale Friday. This will be the first concert there, ever”.
Zach Bryan went on to pay tribute to his fans for making this level of concert possible, gushing, “I love you guys so much and the links in my bio...Thankful is an understatement”. Fans will be wondering whether John Mayer might join forces with Bryan on-stage in Michigan, to perform their much-loved 2024 duet, ‘Better Days’.
It's a monumental feat, particularly if Zach Bryan manages to sell out the venue, with Michigan Stadium the largest stadium in the US, and the third-largest on the planet. The behemoth boasts a capacity of over 107,000, and is usually only used to host the University of Michigan's football team, the Michigan Wolverines.
This serves as yet another example of how country music is blossoming into one of the dominant genres in today's landscape, with Zach Bryan also headlining a slew of other colossal venues this year, such as New Jersey's MetLife Stadium, San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, Dublin's Phoenix Park and London's BST Hyde Park. Bryan has maintained that he will not be embarking on a full-scale tour in 2025.
We're hoping we'll have a slew of new music from the ‘Something in the Orange‘ singer-songwriter by the time his Michigan Stadium date rolls around, with Zach Bryan continuing to suggest that his With Heaven On Top EP is coming “sooner than not”.
This is set to feature recently teased unreleased tracks, such as the EP's title-track, ‘Always Willin’, ‘Santa Fe’, ‘Skin’ and ‘River Road’. The project is not expected to include Bryan's two latest singles, ‘Blue Jean Baby’ and ‘Dear Miss’, as these were seemingly released as standalone songs in honour of the Philadelphia Eagles’ victories.
Both had been languishing in Zach Bryan's mountainous heap of unreleased fan-favourites for over a year, so it seems he was simply gifting listeners a couple of treats to celebrate the Eagles’ journey towards Super Bowl victory last weekend, rather than hinting that ‘Blue Jean Baby’ and ‘Dear Miss’ would feature on his new project.
With Heaven On Top is due to serve as the precursor to Zach Bryan's The Great American Bar Scene follow-up album, which is believed to be titled Motorbreath.
In January, Bryan shared a clip of what appears to be an introduction - voiced by Matthew McConaughey - to an accompanying film of the same name about the creation of the project.
