In a heartfelt message to his followers, Tayler Holder has announced that he's cancelling his 2026 tour-dates in order to focus on improving his mental health and wellbeing.

He explains, “To my fans, friends, and everyone who planned to come see these shows. This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I need to cancel my upcoming shows. Over the past several months, I’ve been in a constant struggle with my mental health in ways that I can no longer ignore. I’ve tried for awhile now to put my head down and just push through this and give everything I have to the music and the people who support me, but truthfully I’ve reached my limit right now and I need to take a step back and focus on getting healthy”.

The ‘When No One's Around’ singer-songwriter candidly goes on, “I’m doing everything I’ve ever dreamed of and I still feel so lonely, still feel so unfulfilled. Performing for you guys is the greatest privilege of my life, and this decision was not made lightly. I know many of you made plans, spent money, and were looking forward to these nights together. And I’m deeply sorry for the disappointment this causes”.

He concludes, “I’m taking this time to rest, seek support, and reconnect with myself away from the pressure and pace of touring. My hope is that this break will allow me to return stronger, healthier, and able to give you guys the performances you deserve. Thank you for your patience, compassion, and continued support. It means more than you’ll ever know. Please take care of yourselves and each other”. Holder reassures fans that he'll speak with them before too long.

A number of fellow artists and loved ones have flooded Holder's comments to show their support to the Texas native, with Christian Country genre-blender Brandon Lake offering some soulful encouragement, “Man lifting you up in prayer right now! That the spirit of panic would break and God would flood your heart and mind with peace. Recognize (the lie), Replace (with truth), and Repeat…has helped me a ton when I’ve battled mentally. Love you dude and believing for a quick shift”.

Holder's girlfriend, Zoey Aune, has underlined that she'll always be standing with him, “The strongest man I know I love you so much and will be here for you no matter what”.

It's safe to say that, in situations like these, despite there being obvious disappointment about the missed shows, every fan’s priority will be for Holder to simply get better.

He joins other high-profile artists such as Ella Langley and Colter Wall who have been forced to cancel tour-dates due to struggling with their mental health. Although, in an ideal world, it would never have to get to a breaking-point like this, it's heartening that more artists are able to make these decisions to step away for the sake of their wellbeing, rather than feeling pressure to battle on silently.
