The Americana Music Association (AMA) UK is back, refreshed and ready to launch their Special Concert on January 20th, 2027, at Koko, London.
Headlined by Steve Earle, the concert will also see music from Frazey Ford, Kezia Gill, Elles Bailey and Jonny Morgan & The Moral Support.
Steve Earle last performed in London in 2018 and Ford was last there in 2021, making this show extra special for the AMA and its members.
The AMA-UK has been around since 2013, championing British voices in Americana. Since its temporary closure in 2025 and relaunch in 2026, the organisation is under new management and ready to reignite their passion for Americana.
For more than a decade, the AMA-UK’s flagship UK Americana Music Week event has set the pace for the genre’s UK community as well as attracting international artists and delegates with a packed industry conference, a showcase festival and a marquee awards ceremony. Their ambition is to build back to a similar footprint in 2028, with the 2027 event being the first step in a longer-term plan.
