After announcing her brand new album, Trail Of Flowers, Sierra Ferrell took the Jimmy Kimmel Live stage for a spellbinding, rip-roaring performance of her recent single, ‘Fox Hunt’.
Although she was making her momentous national TV debut, Sierra Ferrell looked right at home as she tore through the high-energy, fiddle-driven ode to hunting.
Due to the bigger, fuller sound of the studio version of ‘Fox Hunt’, Sierra brought in a few extra instrumentalists to help her bring the song to life in front of the Jimmy Kimmel Live crowd.
Alongside her ever-present trio of mandolin, violin and bass players was a newly introduced drummer and guitarist, both of whom accentuated the drama and gravitas of the song.
Even with the new performers, Sierra Ferrell's ethereal, haunting vocals took centre-stage, with the West Virginia native's swaggering, playful sense of charisma radiating throughout.
It served as the perfect way to celebrate the news that the ‘In Dreams’ singer-songwriter will be dropping her hotly anticipated sophomore album, Trail Of Flowers, on March 22nd. After this enchanting performance, rest assured Sierra Ferrell will have a plethora of new fans keenly looking forward to her sophomore release.
