Good news! Shaboozey has begun teasing some brand new music.
The 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' sensation recently took to social media to share a sampling of a new song, called 'Good News'.
"I need some good news," the artist can be heard singing against an infectious rhythm, "Sittin' here, sippin' on cold truth / Nobody knows what I'm goin' through / Bet the devil wouldn't walk in my shoes / Wish someone told me / Livin' this life would be lonely / Tryna get away from the old me / Still stuck singin' these blues / All I really need is a little good news."
The brief taste of the thundering new track was enough to get fans excited for the song's yet-to-be-revealed release date. In the comments, folks rushed to dub the ditty a "banger," many blessing the track with fire emojis and calling for it to be dropped sooner rather than later.
The teaser arrives not long after the September release of the star's latest single, 'Highway', an offering that first appeared on the hitmaker's third studio album, Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going. The 'Good News' snippet also closely follows the star's first headlining tour, which wrapped in mid-October.
It's been a huge 2024 for Shaboozey, but the year is still far from over for the sensation. He recently secured his first-ever CMA Awards nominations, receiving nods for New Artist of the Year, as well as Single of the Year for his smash hit, 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)', the results of which will come to light on Wednesday, Nov. 20, during the annual awards ceremony.
