Despite having dropped an entire album less than two weeks ago, Riley Green has taken to his socials to teased a brand new unreleased song, entitled ‘Pick A Place’.
The newly shared clip serves as yet another reminder that Riley Green remains one of the most prolific singer-songwriters in the genre, with the Alabama native having now racked up a wealth of fan-favourites that have yet to make their way onto streaming services.
It's safe to say fans will be hoping Riley Green heads to the studio to cut ‘Pick A Place’ as soon as possible, rather than allowing this to be discarded onto his burgeoning pile of unreleased gems.
‘Pick A Place’ finds the ‘Different Round Here’ hitmaker crooning tenderly alongside an easygoing acoustic guitar, as he serenades his lover with a flurry of sweet, endearing promises to take her wherever she wants to go (“To tell you the truth, girl, I don't really care / I'd love the chance to take you anywhere”).
Although he's released a handful of stellar love songs, such as ‘When She Comes Home Tonight’, ‘There Was This Girl’ and the newly shared ‘Workin’ On Me’, Riley doesn't tend to opt for romantic ballads, which makes ‘Pick A Place’ all the more enchanting.
As we keenly await a release date for this heartfelt, stripped-back ode to love, fans will continue spinning Riley Green's new album, Ain't My Last Rodeo, which has already spawned much-loved tracks such as ’Mississippi Or Me’, ‘They Don't Make ‘Em Like That No More’ and the Jelly Roll-assisted ‘Copenhagen in a Cadillac’.
