Riley Green has released his brand new EP, Way Out Here, with the seven-song collection of songs arriving just six months after Riley's widely lauded 2023 album, Ain't My Last Rodeo.
The ‘I Wish Grandpas Never Died’ singer-songwriter, who is currently in the middle of his blockbuster Ain't My Last Rodeo Tour, has included the fan-favourite ‘Jesus Saves’ on the new project. Riley teased the reflective, intricate offering in early January, with listeners immediately calling for the Alabama native to drop the track.
Thankfully, he has now obliged, with ‘Jesus Saves’ joining the previously released ‘Worst Way’ and Riley's celebrated cover of Josh Thompson's ‘Way Out Here’.
‘Jesus Saves’ pivots around the heart-wrenching story of a man sitting by the side of a road, with the protagonist stopping by to hear the story of how his life took a turn for the worse.
In addition, Riley Green's newly unveiled Way Out Here EP features the sun-soaked heartbreak anthem, ‘Good Morning From Mexico’, and the sweet, lovestruck ‘Pick A Place’, both of which Riley has tested out on his socials in recent months.
Completing the stellar project is ‘Atlantic City’ and Riley Green's current single at Country Radio, ‘Damn Good Day To Leave’. The playful track is set to follow in the footsteps of the Luke Combs-assisted ‘Different ‘Round Here’, which hit No. 1 in February.
