After confirming the name and release date for his momentous debut country album, F-1Trillion, earlier in the week, Post Malone has shared the eye-catching artwork for the project.
The visuals were created by Gonzalo Lebrija, a renowned modern artist who has become a leading figure in Mexico's multi-media scene, crafting a range of works including sculptures and visual illusions. Post Malone's F-1Trillion cover draws inspiration from previous pieces in Lebrija's catalogue, particularly As Time Goes By, which featured a car suspended on a lake in much the same way as Posty's artwork. In Post Malone's version, the car is replaced by a two-tone blue truck, nodding to the inspiration behind the title, which is a play on the classic Ford F-150 4x4.
While Gonzalo Lebrija put together the artwork for F-1Trillion, the creative direction was led by PLAYLAB, INC. which also took the helm for Post Malone and Morgan Wallen's ‘I Had Some Help’ cover - another visual that aligns with the overarching truck theme.
It's undoubtedly a striking artwork that, much like the title F-1Trillion, captures the way in which Post Malone is immersing himself in the world of country music, while still putting his own spin on the genre and not losing sight of his signature sound.
F-1Trillion is already one of the most hotly anticipated albums of the year, with Post Malone continuing to tease unreleased music ahead of the project. Posty's viral collaboration with Blake Shelton, ‘Pour Me a Drink’, arrives tomorrow (Friday, June 20th).
With F-1Trillion not dropping until August 16th, we suspect the ‘Chemical’ hitmaker will treat us to another single or two ahead of the official release date, with fans still clamouring for Post Malone to drop his Luke Combs link-up, ‘I Ain't Got a Guy For That’.
