Parker McCollum has released the fiery official live video for his current single, ‘Burn It Down’, which features a montage of images from his recent show in Austin, Texas.
The Texas native accompanied the unveiling by underlining on X how ‘Burn It Down’ is “my favorite to sing live with y’all” - and it's not hard to see why, given the raucous reception the track receives when the simmering electric guitars open the much-loved anthem.
At the time of writing, ‘Burn It Down’ sits inside the Top 20 at Country Radio, with the fan-favourite widely expected to surge to the No. 1 spot in the coming weeks. When it does so, it'll become Parker McCollum's fourth chart-topper, following in the successful footsteps of the alcohol-soaked ‘Handle On You’, which hit No. 1 in May 2023.
‘Burn It Down’ finds Parker McCollum settling into his heartbroken, brooding sweet-spot, with the multi-Platinum singer-songwriter utilising a series of incendiary images to convey his desire to extinguish any trace of lingering, painful feelings for his ex.
The newly released live video will no doubt give the song another boost, with the visuals offering fans a taste of Parker McCollum's live-wire performances. The ‘Pretty Heart’ hitmaker is known for his commanding stage presence and charisma, with Parker having now established himself as one of the biggest touring artists in country.
He's currently gearing up to embark on his hotly anticipated Burn It Down tour, featuring an array of fast-emerging artists such as Corey Kent, Larry Fleet, George Birge and Catie Offerman.
