As the United States ushers in a new year, the country also welcomes a new president in Washington, D.C., though this time it's actually quite the familiar face.

Donald Trump, who was re-elected to the highest seat of power in the country last November, will be taking the oath of office once again on January 20 as his second inauguration ceremony takes place in the country's capital.

Over the last few days, it's seeming more and more like Trump's inaugural activities, which will include the Make America Great Again Victory Rally and a trio of Balls around D.C., are leaning more and more into country music and Nashville at large.

"The Trump Vance Inaugural Committee is proud to announce that some of our nation's most iconic [musicians] will be participating in the inaugural celebrations," said co-chairs Steve Witkoff and Kelly Loeffler in a statement. "This monumental weekend will commemorate President Trump's historic victory and the 60th Presidential Inauguration with a celebration of music, unity and patriotism, ushering in America's new Golden Age."

Adding to the already sprawling list of artists tapped to perform at the festivities is none other than Texas tunesmith Parker McCollum, who will take the stage at The Commander-In-Chief Ball alongside country trio Rascal Flatts.

Earlier this week, country megastar Carrie Underwood became the first of many artists to join the lineup as she will sing 'America the Beautiful' during Trump's inauguration ceremony that afternoon.

"I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event," Underwood noted. "I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future."

Also on hand during the ceremony will be Grammy-winning performer Lee Greenwood whose 'God Bless the USA' has been a staple among the Trump campaigns both in 2016 and more recently in 2020.

Elsewhere, singer-songwriters and country-leaning hitmakers Kid Rock, Billy Ray Cyrus and Jason Aldean will also make appearances to ring in the new administration.

This insurgence of country artists marks the second consecutive inauguration day that has highlighted creators from the genre.

During the 2020 ceremony, which saw the peaceful transfer of power to Joe Biden, megastar Garth Brooks performed 'Amazing Grace.' Later on in the day of festivities, acts like Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Tim McGraw, Lin-Manuel Miranda, John Legend and more were also in attendance.

While the many balls and galas later in the day are not often broadcast for public consumption, the 60th presidential inauguration will be available to watch on most news networks with the swearing in ceremony set to begin at 12pm ET on Monday, January 20.
