MCA Nashville newcomer Parker McCollum has this week earned his first No.1 on the Billboard and Mediabase country airplay charts with 'Pretty Heart', a nostalgic track from his EP Hollywood Gold.

Co-written with Randy Montana, the track has also just been certified Gold by the RIAA, and has averaged over 5 Million streams weekly since its release in October. The hit also made it into VEVO’s Most Watched Country Videos for 2020.

“To have this song really and truly succeed on big time radio is a dream come true,” shares Parker. “And for it to happen during such an insanely crazy year makes it just that much more special.”

It's clearly been a great year for the 28-year-old, whose signing to a major label followed years of independent releases.

Born in Conroe, TX, and currently based in Austin, 28-year-old McCollum bridges the gap between Texas' homegrown music scene and Nashville's country-industry headquarters.
