The 59th Academy of Country Music Awards has announced a second round of entertainers set to take the stage during the prestigious ceremony, making the already powerhouse lineup that much more stacked with talent.
On Thursday, May 16, Post Malone will make his ACM Awards debut, perhaps coming to share his impending Morgan Wallen collaboration ‘I Had Some Help’. Some more promising duets will be peppered throughout the night. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan, as well as Nate Smith and Avril Lavigne have all paired off to play during the event, with Parker McCollum also being tapped for a special showcase.
This slate of artists will join previously announced performers like Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson. Also taking Frisco, Texas' Ford Center stage will be Reba McEntire, the ceremony's host and another of its entertainers set to appear under the spotlight.
The recent round of stars recruited to perform are boasting a few nominations going into the country music celebration. Ballerini, Smith and McCollum are all up for some of the night's biggest honors, including accolades like Female Artist of the Year (Ballerini), New Male Artist of the Year (Smith), and Single of the Year (McCollum).
The ACM Awards will be held on Thursday, May 16, once again taking place at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas. The event will be available to stream live on Prime Video at 7 p.m. Central that evening.
