It definitely looks like HARDY Season is fast-approaching, with the country-rocker continuing to tease new music as he gears up for his keenly awaited QUIT!! follow-up record.

Alongside a black-and-white photo from the studio, the ‘TRUCK BED’ hitmaker has revealed, “Next round is in the chamber”, seemingly confirming his fourth solo album is finished.

HARDY's good friend and frequent collaborator, Morgan Wallen, has expressed his excitement via the comments, with the Sneedville native simply reacting with a green gun emoji.

As fans know all too well, Morgan Wallen is famously inactive when it comes to social media, with the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper only dropping the odd comment or announcement here and there. As a result, we wonder if Wallen's response to HARDY's post regarding new music could be a hint that they have a duet up their sleeves.

Last month, when Morgan Wallen shared a new snippet of his unreleased track, ‘Come Back As A Redneck’, which has been revamped into a rock-tinged country anthem, fans immediately predicted that HARDY was a guest vocalist on the song. During his contentious SNL appearance, Wallen hinted that this offering does indeed have a mystery artist on it, and we're holding out hope it's his ’Red’ collaborator.

Throughout the latter half of March and early April, HARDY has been sharing snippets of new music, including ‘Favorite Country Song’, which he then - a little bizarrely - implied Nate Smith had copied on his own unreleased song, ‘Nights These Days’.

When HARDY uploaded a clip of ’Favorite Country Song’ playing from his phone, eagle-eyed followers noticed that the time in the corner was “4:11”. This could suggest the ‘One Beer’ singer-songwriter is planning to release the new track this Friday, April 11th.

Then, a few days after that ‘Favorite Country Song’ snippet, HARDY returned to Instagram to share a brief portion of another unreleased track, which remains untitled as of yet.

It finds the genre-blending trailblazer describing his grandfather's hunting cabin across a stormy guitar riff. This could well be ‘Buck On The Wall’, which HARDY discussed back in January, with the multi-Platinum artist delving into how the song came about.

“I’ve got a song on my next record called Buck On The Wall that perfectly describes this deer and the story behind it”, HARDY outlined in the caption to a picture of a deer he recently shot, “Some of you know, but my grandfather passed away a year ago”.

The country titan movingly went on, “In 1989 he built our family a little cabin which we have used as our deer camp for the last 35 years, where there are 30-40 bucks mounted on the wall. This fall/winter season is the first one he hasn’t been a part of, and I wish so bad he could’ve seen this deer, but I’m damn proud to keep our family tradition alive and keep putting bucks on the walls that he built. So this one’s for him. Slide 2 is my grandmother, his wife. Love you Pop”.

We'll have to wait and see whether this latest song teaser is in fact ‘Buck On The Wall’. Either way, it seems we've got plenty more HARDY music on the horizon - and we can't wait.
