Nate Smith has earned his first ever UK Country Radio Airplay Chart No. 1 with ‘Bulletproof’, with the ‘World on Fire’ hitmaker notching 789,577 impressions this week (June 14-20).

This ensures ‘Bulletproof’ has enough momentum to overtake Post Malone and Morgan Wallen's star-studded collaboration, ‘I Had Some Help’, which earned its second week at No. 1 during the previous frame. Posty's brand new song with Blake Shelton, ’Pour Me a Drink’, will no doubt storm into the UK chart with a high debut next Sunday.

‘Bulletproof’ continues Nate Smith's impressive run on Country Radio, with the fiery anthem surging to No. 9 at US Country Radio this week. Smith already has two No. 1 US Singles to his name, in ‘Whiskey On You’ and ’World on Fire’, the latter of which equalled Morgan Wallen's record for the most time at No. 1 on the US Billboard Country Airplay chart with 10 weeks. In picking up this UK Country Radio No. 1 and another Top 10 on the other side of the Atlantic, the bearded crooner is quickly cementing his status as a frontrunner in the next wave of country stars.

‘Bulletproof’ was given a welcome boost when Nate Smith released a rock-tinged remix with Avril Lavigne back in May, as well as performing the track at the 2024 ACM Awards.

Completing the Top 5 on this week's chart is Shaboozey's viral, alcohol-soaked hit, ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’, which settles at No. 3, followed by Ashley Cooke's ‘your place’ - which currently holds the record for the most weeks spent at No. 1 at UK Country Radio - and Thomas Rhett's ’Beautiful As You’, at No. 4 and 5 respectively.

The biggest mover is Luke Combs’ ’The Man He Sees in Me’, which enjoyed a staggering 202% improvement in impressions during this latest frame. The soulful, introspective track features on the North Carolina chart-topper's new album, Fathers & Sons, which has drawn acclaim from critics and fans alike for its honesty and vulnerability.
