Morgan Wallen is continuing his dominance over both the country music and all-genre charts, with his 2023 opus, One Thing At A Time, currently being the best-selling album of the year so far.

It's an impressive feat in a genre that often struggles to contend with the likes of hip hop, pop and EDM when it comes to the Billboard 200 and the Billboard Hot 100.

But that seems to be changing thanks to Morgan Wallen, who currently sits atop the Billboard 200 with One Thing At A Time, while one of the lead singles from the 36-song album, ‘Last Night’, recently spent its fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Given the fact that One Thing At A Time is enjoying its eighth week at the peak of the Billboard 200, it's perhaps unsurprising that the record has become the biggest selling album of the year as of yet.

What makes this all the more impressive is the news that Morgan Wallen's previous album, Dangerous, which dropped over two years ago, is still garnering enough listeners to make it the fifth best-selling album of 2023 so far.

It's the latest in a long list of 2023 accolades and records for Wallen, who recently became the first artist in history to secure three songs on the Billboard Country Airplay Top 10. One of those songs, the electric, beat-driven ‘Last Night’, is steadily climbing up the Billboard Pop Airplay chart, reaching a new peak this week of No. 14.

Morgan Wallen is currently on a brief hiatus in his 2023 One Night At A Time world tour, after being forced to cancel last weekend's shows as a result of losing his voice. The ‘Thought You Should Know’ hitmaker was subsequently placed on vocal rest by his team of doctors.

The hugely popular tour is due to recommence on May 4 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The country megastar then has May dates lined up in nearby West Palm Beach and Tampa, before he leaves The Sunshine State to perform across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Texas later in May.
