During the first night of his Minneapolis, Minnesota double-header, Morgan Wallen treated the packed-out crowd to an electrifying solo version of his chart-topping Post Malone collaboration, ‘I Had Some Help’, for the first time since its release in May.
Post Malone and Morgan Wallen previously teamed up to perform the infectious track at Stagecoach Festival 2024, but Morgan has not introduced it into his solo setlist until now.
Given the immense popularity of ‘I Had Some Help’, with the blockbuster duet recently earning a fifth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Morgan was arguably left with little choice but to add it to his expansive set. The audience's raucous response throughout the U.S. Bank Stadium, singing fervently along to every word, underlined that it was a wise call from the ’Last Night’ hitmaker.
In addition, as part of his live-wire One Night At A Time show, Morgan Wallen delivered high-energy renditions of hits such as ‘More Than My Hometown’, ‘7 Summers’, ‘The Way I Talk’, ‘Whiskey Glasses’, ‘You Proof’, ‘This Bar’, ‘Thought You Should Know’ and more.
The Sneedville singer-songwriter also performed his unreleased fan-favourite, ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’, during the stripped-back portion of the show, with Morgan Wallen confirming earlier in June that the long-awaited heartbreak ballad will arrive on July 4th to coincide with Morgan's highly anticipated BST Hyde Park concert in London, UK.
Morgan Wallen took to his Instagram Story ahead of his first Minneapolis show to emphasise how much he was looking forward to performing, as well as teasing that he has “plenty more in the pipeline” following the release of ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’ next month.
Fans are keeping their fingers crossed he announces the arrival of viral tracks such as ‘Love Somebody’ and ’I Guess’ soon, with rumours also being sparked this week of a star-studded link-up with Shaboozey, which we hope comes to fruition before too long.
