Morgan Wallen treated attendees at his recent Moline, Illinois show at the Vibrant Arena to a live debut of ‘Me to Me’, one of the many stand-outs from his 2023 album, One Thing At A Time.

After the project's release, the uptempo, playful track quickly became a fan-favourite. Since then, many ticket-holders to Wallen's 2023 One Night At A Time world tour have been clamouring for ‘Me to Me’ to be introduced into his setlist.

Although it so far seems to have been a special, one-off inclusion, the decision to perform ‘Me to Me’ for the packed-out Moline crowd was greeted with a raucous flurry of cheers and screams.

Despite it being the first time fans have been able to hear ‘Me to Me’ performed live, the vast majority of the audience sang along to each word at the tops of their lungs.

‘Me to Me’ finds the ‘Thought You Should Know’ hitmaker slipping back into the charming, rakish shoes of tracks such as ‘If I Know Me’, ‘Blame It On Me’ and ‘Single Than She Was.

Wallen spends the song explaining to a woman he meets at a bar why he might just be the perfect match for her (“You've been locked down for a while / You want some more wild and free / I don't know who you're waiting on but / Kinda sounds like me to me”).

During his live rendition, as Wallen weaves nimbly through the quick pitter-patter of internal rhymes in the second verse, the track takes on the Hip-Hop-leaning feel that pervades other One Thing At A Time highlights, such as ‘Thinkin’ Bout Me’ and ‘You Proof’.

Morgan Wallen is currently preparing for the Canadian leg of his hugely popular 2023 One Night At A Time tour, with shows lined up throughout the rest of September in Toronto, London, Ottawa, Quebec City, Montreal, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Calgary and more.
