Morgan Wallen will launch a brand new festival, which will take place in Gulf Shores, Alabama across May 16 to 18, with the line-up set to span a number of genres beyond country music. It's called the Sand in My Boots Festival, named after Morgan's hit 2021 single.
The newly unveiled extravaganza will be held on the Hangout Festival grounds, with fans able to soak up some rays and top-tier music at the same time on Alabama's sun-drenched coast.
Announcing the exciting event, the ‘Last Night’ hitmaker shared, “Morgan Wallen here to share some exciting news me and my team have been working on for a while for y’all. We’re heading south to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama and I’m bringing some good friends with me. Mark your calendars for May 16 - 18, 2025 for the Sand In My Boots Fest. Stay tuned and we’ll get you some more info soon!”
What seems to set this apart from other country artist-run festivals, such as Luke Combs’ Bootleggers Bonfire and Luke Bryan's Crash My Playa, is the fact that Morgan Wallen's Sand in My Boots Festival will bring together acts from an array of different genres.
Morgan Wallen referenced inviting some of his closest friends and favourite artists, which makes us think the likes of Lil Durk and Moneybagg Yo may be lined up to perform at the event. Both have collaborated with Morgan Wallen in recent years, and Lil Durk commented on Morgan's 2025 Sand in My Boots Festival reveal post with a slew of Fire emojis, seemingly hinting that he'll be taking part.
Stacy Vee, EVP of Goldenvoice and Producer of Stagecoach, underlined how much she's looking forward to putting on this unique event in 2025, “Creating a Festival with Morgan has been a dream come true… and some of the most fun I have ever had booking a show! I can’t wait for fans to come and experience one of the most eclectic and electric lineups and on-site experiences the world has ever seen”.
AEG Presents and Hangout Festival Producer Reeves Price explained, “The opportunity to bring Morgan’s world to life on the beach in Gulf Shores is something very special. The fact that it coincides with the 15th anniversary of the Hangout Festival only makes it more special. We can’t wait to see everyone back on the beach in May”.
The inaugural 2025 Sand in My Boots Festival is sure to be an unmissable occasion for Morgan Wallen's loyal fanbase, and we can't wait to see who gets added to the first ever line-up.
