Midland are set to bring the sound of Austin, Texas to Arizona's Sonoran Desert in April.

The playful trio have been added to the Country Thunder Arizona 2023 line-up, alongside Bailey Zimmerman, Mackenzie Carpenter, Jackson Dean and more.

Arizona's instalment of the widely popular Country Thunder series will take place on April 13-16 2023.

Midland's unveiling has been met with a euphony of celebration from festival-goers, with the band having enjoyed a highly successful 2022.

In May, they released The Last Resort: Greetings From, a sun-soaked, escapist delight that was deemed by many to be one of their best projects to date.

Fans will be excited to hear a selection of tracks from that album, along with older hits such as ‘Drinkin’ Problem’ and ‘Mr. Lonely’.

Joining Midland will be country music wunderkind, Bailey Zimmerman, who recently received his first ever Country Radio No. 1 for ‘Fall in Love’, which also made its way onto Holler's Songs of the Year 2022.

It adds to an already packed 2023 for Zimmerman, with the rising star set to support Morgan Wallen on his One Night At A Time world tour.

Attendees at Country Thunder 2023 may also get to hear a new track from Zimmerman, ‘Get To Gettin’ Gone’, which he teased on his socials on Sunday.

Along with Midland and Zimmerman, the latest wave of line-up additions is completed by Jackson Dean, Chase Matthew, Mackenzie Carpenter, John Morgan and Josh Ross.

They will be performing alongside the already announced roster of performers, which includes big-name acts such as Jon Pardi, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Parker McCollum, Ashley McBryde and Cody Johnson.
