Following much speculation and conjecture, Luke Combs has unveiled the official tracklist for his upcoming album, Gettin’ Old.
Along with previously announced singles, ‘Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old’ and ‘Love You Anyway’, the new project will feature unheard tracks such as ‘Back 40 Back’, ‘Take You With Me’, ‘Still’, ‘Hannah Ford Road’, ‘A Song Was Born’ and more.
Fans will be excited to see that Luke Combs’ viral cover of Tracy Chapman's ‘Fast Car’ has made the cut, with Luke's old YouTube performance of the track still racking up a slew of views.
Also set to feature on Gettin’ Old is ‘Joe’, a wistful, bittersweet song Luke played live at the Grand Ole Opry.
The touching ballad revolves around a man who's on the road to recovery from alcoholism (“So here's to good days, where I've been / So here's to good days, better tomorrows / And a light at the end of the bottle”).
‘See Me Now’ is another previously teased song, as is ‘Five Leaf Clover’, the latter of which quickly blossomed into a fan-favourite, despite only being available via YouTube.
Nonetheless, listeners won't have to wait much longer before they can stream ‘Five Leaf Clover’ on all platforms, along with the other 17 songs that are due to appear on Luke's upcoming album, Gettin’ Old.
Fans will get another taste of the new project later this week, with Luke due to release ‘Love You Anyway’ on February 10.
The tracklist announcement follows Luke's show-stopping performance of ‘Going, Going, Gone’ at the 2023 Grammys on Sunday. Many were surprised the North Carolina songsmith came away from the illustrious ceremony empty-handed, after receiving three nominations.
