Whiskey Jam recently shared a picture from their archives which featured a young Luke Combs in the corner, before Luke Combs was, well, Luke Combs.
“Summer 2015 - a young @lukecombs chilling in the crowd at Whiskey Jam while we snapped a “tonight’s office” photo,” the caption said, “It’s a great (and somewhat hilarious) reminder that you never know who’s out there watching, just waiting for their chance to play.”
The famous music night, Whiskey Jam, held at Whiskey Row on Nashville’s Broadway, is a space for musicians new and old to showcase their talent. Big names regularly start out there and up and comers can oftentimes catch their big break.
It seems that Combs was one of those dreaming musicians, hoping to be in the right place at the right time when the Whiskey Jam team snapped this unsuspecting photo 11 years ago.
Combs has just wrapped on his mega 2026 My Kinda Saturday Night Tour which included 3 sold-out nights at London’s Wembley Stadium. He commented on the post, saying, “Damn. Almost brings a tear to my eye”.
The ‘Beautiful Crazy’ crooner has just today announced an extension of his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour for 2027, stopping at 12 cities across the US and Canada.
