Luke Combs Announces Keenly Awaited New Album, Fathers & Sons

The time has finally come: a new Luke Combs album is on its way!

After months of snippets being trickled out across his socials, the country behemoth's fifth studio album, Fathers & Sons, will be arriving on June 14th... and it'll no doubt be infiltrating our playlists and hearts in no time.

Described as a "first-of-its-kind album release," the 12-track project will find the decorated entertainer at his most introspective and convincing, while also in rare form. The album, which was recorded entirely live, features Combs' most personal songwriting to date, as he reflects on his own experiences being a dad and the unique bond between parents and their children.

Best exemplified in the project's lead single, 'The Man He Sees In Me,' Fathers & Sons will also feature instantly loved songs like 'Plant a Seed,' 'Huntin' By Yourself' 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' and 'Remember Him That Way,' among others.

“To my boys, first and foremost, I will always love you, no matter what. With ['The Man He Sees In Me'], I want you to know that even though I’m not perfect, I try my hardest every day to be the best version of myself for you both. I’ll make mistakes along the way and some days you’ll be sick of your old man, I’m sure, but, dang, we’ll have some fun too," Combs shares. "I can’t wait to see what you both turn out to be like and I hope someday down the road, I get to watch you and your kids do the same. Love, Dad.”

As we here at Holler recently opined, this next Combs record is shaping up to be one of the strongest of his career thus far as he continues to hone in on a more mature, introspective flavor of songwriting that keeps us yearning for more.

The North Carolina native is currently in the midst of his sprawling Growin' Up and Gettin' Old Tour, which will take the superstar through upcoming stops in Arizona, Utah, California and more through mid-August.
