Luke Combs has earned the most nominations for the 2024 ACM Awards, with Megan Moroney earning the title of the leading female nominee heading into the Frisco, Texas ceremony.
Luke Combs will once again be vying for the biggest accolade of the evening, Entertainer of the Year, with the North Carolina hitmaker coming up against Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson and Chris Stapleton in what's shaping up to be one of the most competitive categories of the past few years.
In addition, on May 16th, Luke Combs will be challenging for 2024 Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (Gettin’ Old, Artist and Producer nominations), Single of the Year (‘Fast Car’, Artist and Producer nominations), Song of the Year (‘Fast Car’) and Music Event of the Year (‘Different ‘Round Here’ with Riley Green).
In recognition of another incredibly successful year, Megan Moroney has picked up more 2024 ACM nods than any other female artist, with the much-loved ‘No Caller ID’ singer-songwriter contending next month for Female Artist of the Year, New Female Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (‘Tennessee Orange’, Artist and Songwriter nominations), Music Event of the Year (‘Can't Break Up Now’ with Old Dominion) and Visual Media of the Year (‘Tennessee Orange’).
Megan Moroney's status as the ACM’s most nominated female artist in 2024 is made all the more impressive in light of the dominance exerted by Lainey Wilson over recent awards shows. With ‘Tennessee Orange’ remaining one of the most popular songs in today's country landscape, the Georgia prodigy will be a widely tipped favourite to triumph in a number of categories at the 2024 ACM Awards.
Megan Moroney was nominated for her first ACM Award last year for New Female Artist, with Hailey Whitters ultimately being crowned the victor. Megan will have her sights set on her first ever trophy at this prestigious country music ceremony in 2024.
