During an intimate afternoon at the City Winery in Nashville, Tennessee, CMT unveiled its newest class of female artists featured as part of its Next Women of Country program for 2024.
Created as a way to support and promote developing female talent in the genre, this year's class features a few Holler favorites, including neo-traditional outlaw Lauren Watkins, beloved sister duo Tigirlily Gold, country rocker Ella Langley and fast-rising sibling trio The Castellows.
Also featured in the Class of 2024 are Twinnie, Tanner Adell, Karley Scott Collins, Anne Wilson, HunterGirl, Madeline Merlo, Emily Ann Roberts, Mae Estes, Kylie Frey and Denitia.
During the star-studded show, a group of VIPs and industry members were treated to acoustic performances from all of the Class of 2024.
Highlights of the afternoon came as Watkins graced the room with a stirring version of 'Cowboys On Music Row', The Castellows delivered a jaw-dropping rendition of 'Cowboy Kind of Love', Roberts showed off her soaring vocals with 'The Building' and Collins brought a gritty rock energy with 'Heavy Metal'.
What all of these young ladies in the Class of 2024 have in common is that they've been breaking new ground in their burgeoning careers over the last several months and are paving a path that will carry them well into 2024 and beyond.
From nabbing supporting slots on major tours with country heavy-hitters and charting country singles, to dropping critically-acclaimed records and racking up followers on socials, these artists are poised to make great career strides.
Throughout 2024, this Next Women of Country class will receive support for their music and videos across all of CMT's channels and programming, including CMT Hot 20 Countdown, CMT.com, social channels and more.
