CMA Fest 2024 has been full of excitement across the jam-packed four days, but Sunday brought plenty of excitement all on its own as superstar Lainey Wilson unveiled a string of exciting teasers regarding her forthcoming record, Whirlwind, due out on August 23.

Taking its name from how the last few years of her life and career have felt since the phenomenal rise of her breakthrough single, 'Things A Man Oughta Know,' the project promises to be one of her most personal and introspective albums so far. If the previously released tracks – 'Hang Tight Honey' and 'Country's Cool Again' – are any indication, it's sure to be a spitfire, too.

During her handful of dates from the Country's Cool Again Tour, which kicked off in Nashville on May 31 with two sold-out shows at Ascend Amphitheater, the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year has been more than happy to tease some of the tracks that we can expect from Whirlwind, including the sweet serenade of '4x4 By You,' the rowdy 'Bell Bottoms Up' and the roaming and cinematic 'Good Horses.'

Upon the last day of CMA Fest, during her Artist of the Day interview with fellow hitmaker Keith Urban, Wilson put the cherry on top of a thrilling weekend by confirming that the project will include some collaborations with country's biggest stars. Though not able to name specific artists, she did offer up: "If you were at the Nashville shows last week, one of the artists came out and did a song with me that we sang together called 'Good Horses.' I'm so excited, it's incredible."

Lucky for us, Holler was at the Nashville shows last week and got to witness the official live debut of the song – with Lambert and the whole shebang – with 8,000 of our closest friends. Together, the two leading ladies of country music's voices weave in and out in spellbinding harmony.

A sparse track that gives ample room for the mind to wander, it expands on a central theme throughout Wilson's discography, that being that she's a free spirit who can't be tied down. However, this newly-minted 2024 track has an undeniably more hopeful and positive message than those she's released in the past as she promises her significant other that no matter how far away she may travel, she will always come back home to them.

The addition of Lambert is an exciting development in the mostly under wraps album, which follows her award-winning sophomore effort, Bell Bottom Country.
