Hilariously, Kenny Chesney's good buddy and 2024 Sun Goes Down tour-mate, Megan Moroney, is the one to introduce a very reluctant Chesney to the social media platform.

In the first video posted to the No Shoes Nation icon's new TikTok page, Megan Moroney addresses the viewer, “Hey y'all, I want to introduce you to my friend, Kenny Chesney”.

Then, when the ‘There Goes My Life’ hitmaker refuses to enter the shot, Megan Moroney turns to Kenny Chesney with mock frustration and attempts to gently encourage him to embrace this new venture, reassuring him, “Come on. Kenny, come on! It'll be good”.

Moroney then grabs Chesney and pulls him in, with the ‘Pirate Flag’ crooner captioning the amusing, endearing video, “@Megan Moroney introducing me to the world of TikTok”.

Kenny Chesney's move onto TikTok has seemingly been designed to lay the foundation for the Tropical Country chart-topper's Sphere shows, which kick off on May 22nd.

The blockbuster residency will see Kenny Chesney becoming the first country artist to headline the innovative venue, with Chesney set to deliver 15 dates across May and June.

Earlier in April, the country legend offered fans a sneak preview of what they can expect from the unprecedented series of shows, with Kenny Chesney and his team spending the past few weeks recording new content tailormade for the immersive space.

The wraparound Sphere screen boasts 171 million pixels in 16K clarity, with the audio being transmitted via a staggering 167,000 individual speakers.
