Kenny Chesney has given fans another preview of his keenly awaited 2024 album, BORN, with the country legend today releasing an energising new single, ‘Just To Say We Did’.

The feel-good anthem serves as the follow-up to Kenny's much-loved current Country Radio single, ‘Take Her Home’, which is en route to break into the Top 20 next week.

‘Just To Say We Did’ is infused with Kenny Chesney's signature joi-de-vivre, with the motivational track finding the Knoxville songsmith reminiscing fondly on the wild, adventurous memories that were made on a whim and with “no rhyme or reason”.

It doubles-down on the message behind recent fan-favourites, such as ‘Here and Now’ and ‘We Do’, while also emitting the same rose-tinted glow of ‘Young’ and ‘I Go Back’.

Speaking ahead of the release, the four-time Entertainer of the Year explained the inspiration behind the new track, “What can I say? ‘Just To Say We Did’ sounds like me and my friends growing up, and so many people I’ve met along the way. It’s a song where whatever it is, why not? Get out there and live, shoot your shot, do that bucket list thing – just to say you did. When you can boil down how to create real joy into three minutes that feels this good, I want to sing that song”.

Kenny Chesney went on to underline how ‘Just To Say We Did’ will set the tone for his highly anticipated run of shows this year, “I think this summer when we’re out on the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour, ‘Just To Say We Did’ is a lot of the energy we live on. Not just my road family, but all those crazy, awesome folks pulling up and tailgating out in the parking lots where No Shoes Nation comes to life every weekend. We picked this song as the next great track for them, too”.

The unveiling of ‘Just To Say We Did’ has been accompanied by the exciting news that Kenny Chesney will be releasing a deluxe edition of BORN, available exclusively to those who purchase tour tickets and top-tier No Shoes Nation fan club members.

The expanded version will include live renditions of three classic Kenny earworms, ‘Living in Fast Forward’, ‘Get Along’ and his celebrated David Lee Murphy duet, ‘Everything's Gonna Be Alright’, recorded during his 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour.

BORN is due to be made available on March 29th, and the release of both ‘Just To Say We Did’ and ‘Take Her Home’ has ensured the sense of anticipation is sky-high for the project.
