Today is a good day for the No Shoes Nation as the almighty Barefoot One himself just released another taste of BORN.
Kenny Chesney has dropped ‘Guilty Pleasure,’ a breezy, c’est la vie serenade about letting whatever be simply be. It was the last song the aritst wrote for the impending release, which is slated to arrive on March 22.
“It dives straight into the heart of human behavior,” the ‘How Forever Feels’ star shared of the song in a video on Instagram. “This song takes the pressure off of whatever the relationship is. It gives each person in the song permission to just enjoy it and let whatever it is be.”
Chesney has been steadily sharing new music over the last few weeks, and ‘Guilty Pleasure’ adds to the previously released BORN tracks 'Take Her Home,' 'Thinkin' Bout' and 'Just To Say We Did.'
The artist began teasing his upcoming album earlier this year, revealing in an interview, “I’m ready. Because of the amount of time we’ve had to work… and not just work, but really just hang out, write, experiment and play with different kinds of music… I got to go places, do some things we wouldn’t normally try because we have such a clear vision of what we’re trying to do”.
