Keith Urban has spent an impressive third week at No. 1 on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, with his high-energy offering, ‘WILDSIDE’, tallying 703,110 impressions during this frame.
In the period dated September 27th - October 3rd, Urban's uptempo track managed to beat off stiff competition from Cody Johnson and Carrie Underwood's blockbuster new collaboration, ‘I'm Gonna Love You’, which has to settle for the second spot.
‘WILDSIDE’ appears on Keith Urban's 2024 studio album, HIGH, which has also spawned fan-favourite tracks such as ‘MESSED UP AS ME’, ‘HEART LIKE A HOMETOWN’ and ‘GO HOME W U’. The latter features Bell Bottom Country star, Lainey Wilson.
Completing the Top Five on this week's UK Country Radio Airplay Chart is Jordan Davis’ ‘I Ain't Sayin’, Megan Moroney's ‘Am I Okay?’ - the title-track from Moroney's new record - and Old Dominion's ’Coming Home’ at No. 3, 4 and 5 respectively.
The biggest mover during this frame is Dierks’ Bentley's Tom Petty cover, ‘American Girl’, which racks up 413,070 impressions, marking a 185% increase compared to last week.
This period sees new entries from a slew of songs, the most notable being Cody and Carrie's ’I'm Gonna Love You’, which leaps straight to No. 2. Also debuting is Corey Kent and Lauren Alaina's ‘Now or Never’, Brooks and Dunn and Lainey Wilson's ‘Play Something Country’, Chayce Beckham's ‘Everything I Need’, Conner Smith's ’The Storyteller’, Dawn Sievewright's ‘Tacoma’, Tyler Hubbard's ‘Heroes’, Wyatt Flores’ ‘Don't Wanna Say Goodnight’ and Niko Moon's ‘SPEND IT ON YOU’.
