Keith Urban has unveiled his 12th studio album, HIGH, which will arrive on September 20, with the country chart-topper making a new single, ‘WILDSIDE’, available immediately.
The forthcoming project is also expected to feature previously released fan-favourites, such as ‘GO HOME W U’ with Lainey Wilson, ‘MESSED UP AS ME’ and ‘STRAIGHT LINE’.
Taking to his socials, Urban has offered fans an insight into what they can expect from HIGH, “This album is the result of a prior record I started in 2022. It’s 40 minutes top to bottom, and is completely expressive, true, honest and is so much more of what I actually wanted to say when making that scrapped record. I hope these songs bring you joy, levity, some new understanding, energy, and escape!”
It'll be interesting to see how much of that abandoned project has made the cut for HIGH, and how the ‘Cop Car’ hitmaker has shifted and adjusted the sound of the new record since he started working on his THE SPEED OF NOW, Pt. 1 follow-up album.
Keith Urban remains one of the most respected figures in modern country music, with the New Zealand-born Australian having produced iconic hits such as ‘Somebody Like You’, ‘Better Life’, ‘Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me’, ‘Where the Blacktop Ends’ and more.
Following Urban's much-loved collaboration with Lainey Wilson, ‘GO HOME W U’, fans will be hoping the ‘Days Go By’ singer-songwriter has another duet or two up his sleeve for HIGH.
