Josiah and the Bonnevilles have released a highly-anticipated deluxe version of their 2023 Endurance LP, featuring a handful of new tracks including fan-favorite 'Lithuania'.

First teased in December 2023, fans have been begging for the song to be released and the wait is finally over.

'Lithuania' tells the rousing story of how frontman Josiah Leming was kicked off a United Airlines Flight on his way to his brother's wedding overseas.

Inspired by true events from his trip, the acoustic song depicts the wild story of being banned from the airline. Fortunately for Leming, he made it to Lithuania for the wedding and the chaos didn't ensue until his return trip to Dallas.

The song showcases Leming's sense of humor and colorful storytelling, taking an average event and turning it into a rousing soundtrack that grips the listener from beginning to end.

After having a few of his favorite alcoholic beverages, Leming describes having fallen asleep and being stirred by a flight attendant shaking him awake. He goes on to explain how the police were called and it took four FBI agents to contain him.

The Deluxe version also includes an alternate version of 'Basic Channels' featuring a TikTok creator named Kim.

Kim duetted the song in 2023, grabbing Leming's attention. They quickly found the creator and recorded her part of the re-released version in her Texas home. The fiddle adds a beautiful layer of depth and fills out what was already an incredible song.

The band are heading out next week for their first nearly-sold-out headline tour. With additional stops lined up for the inaugural Extra Innings Festival, as well as Railbird Festival and Bonnaroo 2024, it's looking to be a big year for the beloved alt-country outfit.
