As Lainey Wilson wraps her sprawling Country's Cool Again tour, one of the hitmaker's supporting acts has taken a moment to commemorate their time together on the road.
Gravel-voiced newcomer Jackson Dean recently gifted Wilson with a customized guitar, the 'Heavens to Betsy' star detailing the acoustic instrument with his intricate style of wood burning.
Onto the body of the guitar, Dean personally etched a desert scene with two horses – one dark and one fair – inspired by Wilson's well-loved hit, 'Wildflowers and Wild Horses'. He explained of the image, "It's the strong and the gentle. When you walk with both of those, you make beautiful things, and that's why I put the wildflowers in the middle."
"Country’s always gonna be cool," Dean wrote while sharing the details of the project to fans on social media. "This is for all the crazy miles we’ve put down on the road. Thank you [Lainey Wilson] for bringin me and my men and [Zach Top] out this past year. Here’s a little end of tour present."
Dean, alongside Ian Munsick and Zach Top, joined Wilson on the 2023-2024 arena trek, supporting the star on and off for several months.
The Country's Cool Again tour will officially come to a close this November with a two-night hometown showcase at the Monroe Civic Center in Monroe, Louisiana, the closest city to the artist's native Baskin.
