While spending time in London, UK ahead of his electric C2C Festival 2025 performance, Chayce Beckham spoke to Holler about his experience opening for Cody Johnson for one of his blockbuster shows at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena in February.

CoJo served up two nights packed with surprises and special guests, with the Texas trailblazer joined by country frontrunners such as Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood and Ian Munsick.

With Chayce Beckham serving as support, the ‘23’ hitmaker was tasked with ensuring the crowd were fired up and in a celebratory mood ahead of Cody Johnson's headline set.

Despite his own modesty, it's safe to say he delivered, with the California crooner reeling off an array of stand-outs from his widely acclaimed 2024 album, Bad For Me.

While hanging with Holler, Chayce Beckham recalled how special that show was to him, “February 14th, I got to open up for one of my favourite artists right now in country music - Cody Johnson. I also got a pass on Valentine's Day, so that was pretty nice...!”

Beckham quipped, “I got to take my fiancée to a Cody Johnson show, so it was a lot of fun, and just getting to meet Cody and shake his hand real quick backstage, and say, ‘Thank you’ for letting me have the opportunity to get to open up for you’”.

The ‘Everything I Need’ singer-songwriter concluded by expressing his desire to join CoJo again in the future, “I was really excited about that show and I think we did a good enough job. So it felt really good, and just getting to see all the people - all the folks from Nashville - in one place at that show, and it just felt like a big ol’ country music party. So yeah, hopefully we'll get to do a lot more shows with Cody!”

Following the positive response that met his Bad For Me in 2024, fans are hoping that Chayce Beckham's attention has turned towards the tantalising prospect of new music, with more packed-out arenas and spellbinding shows no doubt on the horizon.
