It's no secret that when Morgan Wallen, HARDY and ERNEST join forces in the writing room, magic happens.

The three best buddies have penned a plethora of hits, such as Morgan's ‘More Than My Hometown‘, with the trio touring together for a number of years before HARDY flew the nest and embarked on his headlining the mockingbird & THE CROW arena run in 2023.

We've been treated to a number of duets from this Music City triumvirate, such as Morgan and HARDY's ‘In the Bible’, ‘He Went to Jared’, ‘Turn You Down’, ‘Red’ and ‘John Deere Green’ with the late Joe Diffie, Morgan and ERNEST's ‘Cowgirls’, ‘Flower Shops’ and ‘Hangin’ On’ and HARDY and ERNEST's Radiohead cover, ‘Creep’.

However, somewhat bizarrely, given how close the three artists are, we've never had a song featuring all three as vocalists. Now, though, it seems the wait may be over.

This week, Morgan, HARDY and ERN reunited for a touching tribute to the CEO/Partner of their label, Seth England, to perform a slew of hits during the T. J. Martell New York Honors Gala.

When HARDY shared a selection of photos from the event via Instagram, ERNEST took to the comments to hint that the three pals have - excitingly - recorded an entire project together.

He teased, “The fact we have an album just sittin around lol”, with fans immediately flooding the comments with responses pleading with the three artists to release the record.

HARDY and ERNEST are due to support Morgan Wallen on both nights of his momentous double-header of shows at Knoxville's Neyland Stadium on September 20th and 22nd. Given how this serves as a special homecoming for Morgan, many have been speculating that he's gearing up to announce a brand new album during his stay.

It still seems most likely that this will be Morgan Wallen's forthcoming solo project, with the Sneedville megastar currently preparing to release the long-awaited single, ‘Love Somebody’.

Nonetheless, with Morgan Wallen, HARDY and ERNEST getting the band back together this weekend, it's possible they may have another blockbuster revelation up their sleeves.

A joint album would represent a colossal moment for country music, and would certainly be worth the lengthy wait for a collaboration between the three artists. Back in 2022, Holler spoke to HARDY about the prospect of a link-up with Morgan and ERNEST, to which he replied, “Yeah definitely - I kind of can't believe we haven't done that yet. But it's definitely going to happen”. He went on to underline that, at the time, a song or album was “not technically in the works yet”, before doubling down on his intentions of recording a collaboration with his friends in the near future, “I can't wait for it...I feel like the three of us are doing something really cool, both together and separately. We've got to do a song together”.

If we are to take ERNEST's latest comment at face value, then we might have much more than just one song to look forward to. Given ERN's penchant for joking around on socials, it's possible he's just stirring the pot by referencing this collaborative album. However, it feels like his comment was too blunt and explicit to be a false lead.

We imagine we might learn more at Neyland Stadium tomorrow (September 20th), but either way, if a joint album between ‘The 3 Bruh’skateeers’ - as ERNEST calls them - is truly on the way, then it looks like Christmas might be coming early this year.
