Eric Church's ‘Hands Of Time’ has surged back to the No. 1 spot on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, after first hitting the peak of the listing back in early April.

The nostalgic, galvanising single appears on The Chief's widely lauded new studio album, Evangeline vs. The Machine, which arrived on May 2nd. The project also features stand-outs such as the powerful ‘Johnny’ and the evocative ‘Darkest Hour’.

During the latest tracking period, ‘Hands Of Time’ has amassed a tally of 715,475 impressions, marking a 6% increase compared to last week. The previous chart-topper, Ella Langley's stormy ‘weren't for the wind’, drops to No. 2 with 683,660 impressions.

This week's Top 5 is completed by the title-track from Morgan Wallen's highly anticipated fourth album, ‘I'm the Problem’, at No. 3, followed by Bailey Zimmerman and Luke Combs’ electric new collaboration, ‘Backup Plan’, and Chappell Roan's infectious pop-country crossover, ‘The Giver’, at No. 4 and 5 respectively. ‘Backup Plan’ was only released on May 2nd, with this being the song's chart debut.

The biggest mover on this frame is Brothers Osborne's ‘Finish This Drink’ which leaps up 643% in impressions to land at a new UK Country Radio Airplay Chart high of No. 49.

As well as ‘Backup Plan’, this week sees a slew of debuts from Watchhouse's ‘All Around You’ (No. 42), The Shootouts and Vince Gill's ‘I'll Be Damned’ (No. 41), Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway's ‘Yosemite’ (No. 39), Eric Church's ‘Rocket's White Lincoln’ (No. 38), Alyssa Bonagura and Charles Kelley's ‘Old Piano’ (No. 37), Kacey Musgraves’ ‘Lost Highway’ (No. 35) and Zach Top's ‘Dirt Turns to Gold’ (No. 31).
