Eric Church’s band, who have been champions for giving back to the community in recent years, are paving the way for yet another charitable event: Music Row for MusiCares. The showcase will allow fellow musicians and songwriters to sing, play, tell stories, and raise funding for “MusiCares” at Church’s Nashville bar, Chief’s.

MusiCares, a U.S. based, independent charity founded in 1989 by the Recording Academy, strives to raise proceeds for musicians in need of financial, personal, or medical help. MusiCares is set to make its way to Music Row this year, with the event presented by Eric Church’s band and wealth management firm, Corient.

The evening of August 9th on the Broadway strip is set to be a memorable occasion, with performance, conversation and community brought together by Eric Church’s band members, Jeff Hyde and Driver Williams, accompanied by some of Nashville’s top songwriters - Casey Beathard, Luke Dick, Johnathan Singleton, and Dan Isbell.

This songwriting pantheon will also be sharing the stories behind some of country music’s greatest hits, with attendees getting the opportunity to hear about the makings of our favorite songs and how they made their way to our favorite artists.

These featured songwriters are some of the many personified backbones to the Nashville music scene, with their writing amplifying the careers of country heroes such as Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Luke Combs, Ella Langley, Tim McGraw, and of course, Eric Church.

Behind the scenes, songwriters can often be overlooked as they are not in the continuous spotlight nearly as much as their performer counterparts. This being said, it feels very fitting that this event is hosted by those putting in that constant work behind the scenes, and all for the sake of the overlooked struggles in the music world.

This wouldn’t be the first time Church’s band had a hand in an event such as this, with their annual “Put a club in my hand” golf tournament also benefitting MusiCares.

Eric Church’s band has built a legacy of philanthropy through continuous efforts - all stemming from Church’s upbringing, his strong belief in community, and opportunities to help the very community that raised him, such as his involvement with recovery efforts of Hurricane Helene through “Chief Cares” and the “Blue Haven” home project.

All profits as well as donations made from this event will go directly to MusiCares for the funding of “music people” and the individual cases where they may need assistance. Early access to tickets had been opened to the Church Choir, Eric Church’s fanbase, with tickets now open to the public via the official event page.
