California-born and Nashville-based Emily Nenni brought the honky tonk with her to the Arizona desert for her set at Dreamy Draw Festival 2023.

Nenni’s 2022 record On The Ranch is a fun romp through a 90s vintage country scene, and her performance of the record here fully encapsulates that feeling.

Midway through she waltzed into ‘In The Mornin’, a playful take on the one-night-stand agreement that you can stay the night but in the morning you have to go, written from a woman’s point-of-view. "I’m a very busy woman, got a lot on my plate. So you’ll excuse my memory if I’ve forgotten your name sang Nenni with her smooth, seductive croon.

Throughout the set, they deliver radiant country music that's lit up by sparkling guitar and one of the best pedal steel players we've ever seen, all centered around Nenni's soulful melodies.

Singing fun, feminine songs like ‘Can Chaser’, about female barrel racers, and the playful and clever ’The Chicken and The Hen’, it's the perfect mid-day set for a sunny afternoon filled with day drinkin’ and dancing.
