Back when the Dreamy Draw Music Festival line-up was announced in July, it felt like this exciting new country music extravaganza was simply a dream drawn tantalisingly out across the horizon.
Now, though, the wait is finally over - the first ever Dreamy Draw Music Festival is upon us. Naturally, as the event inches closer, attendees are faced with a plethora of questions, queries and qualms about what to expect, what to bring, what to wear and more.
One thing that's pretty much guaranteed is that you're in store for two unforgettable days of top-tier country music, along with the chance to experience an array of culinary delights, artistic instalments and country-inspired fashion.
Nonetheless, in order to make the most of the very first Dreamy Draw Music Festival and ensure it's two days of smooth-sailing without any bag-check-derived snags or travel-based blunders, we've compiled a few handy answers to some Frequently Asked Questions that might be on your mind as you pack your bags for Scottsdale, Arizona.
Dreamy Draw will be setting down its roots at the Scottsdale Civic Center (7380 E 2nd St, Scottsdale, AZ 85251).
Dreamy Draw Music Festival has been lined up for Friday, November 3 and Saturday, November 4 2023, with a slew of big-name acts and up-and-coming prodigies booked across the two days.
With that in mind, if you're weighing up whether to attend on Friday or Saturday, pay close attention to the Dreamy Draw day-splits, which have now been revealed. If you want to receive the full festival experience, though, we recommend you get yourself down to Scottsdale for both days of the eagerly awaited event.
Gates will open on Friday, November 3 at 1pm local time, and they'll open at the exact same time on Saturday, November 4. Don't worry about cramming in a quick lunch before you arrive, as Dreamy Draw has a mouth-watering selection of food options inside the grounds.
Shortly after the blockbuster roster of performers was unveiled, Zach Bryan commented, ‘what a perfect lineup’ - and it's fair to say the ‘Something in the Orange’ hitmaker has a point.
Dreamy Draw has assembled an eclectic mix of artists from across the outlaw-inspired outer edges of mainstream country, such as Margo Price and Luke Grimes, infused with a range of alternative, folk and Americana favourites, including Stephen Wilson Jr., Trampled By Turtles, American Aquarium and Watchhouse.
The swaggering, charismatic Texas trio, Midland, will headline the first day of the festival, while genre-blending soundscapers, Lord Huron, will do the honours on Saturday, November 4.
On Friday, November 3, Midland will be joined on the opening day line-up by Margo Price, Luke Grimes, Hailey Whitters, Breland, Stephen Wilson Jr., Country Night, Emily Nenni, Grady Spencer & The Work, Nat Myers, The Senators and Matt Farris.
On Saturday, November 4, before Lord Huron take the stage for the grand finale, attendees will be able to witness performances from Trampled By Turtles, Watchhouse, Jamestown Revival, American Aquarium, Mighty Poplar, JD Clayton, Evan Honer, Logan Halstead, Steely Dead, Will Worden, Taylor Glasheen and American Hustler.
One hot prospect we recommend making room in your schedule to see is Nolan Taylor, who will also be performing on Saturday, with the soul-baring singer-songwriter recently releasing his intricate musing on a lost relationship, ‘Life/Love’.
When it comes to narrowing down your country music concerts and festival outfit ideas, the number of options can feel as broad and expansive as the Arizona desert skyline.
If you want to go for a traditional Texas outlaw look, you could pair a denim shirt with some good ol’ blue jeans and cowboy boots. Bonus points if you add in a classic red neckerchief.
Alternatively, if you want to test out a modern country aesthetic, you can flip your finest Bass Pro Shops cap backwards and throw on a white tee and flannel shirt. Excitingly, there will be a number of local vendors and fashion items on-sale at Dreamy Draw, where you might be able to score a unique gem to complete your look.

Endearingly, the most important thing to bring, according to Dreamy Draw Music Festival, is “good vibes and a smile”.
We agree, but as well as this, you can also bring items such as:
On the flip side, you're not allowed to bring:
Thankfully, the Scottsdale Civic Center is only a fifteen-minute drive away from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. It's also a forty-minute drive from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and a two-hour drive from Tucson International Airport - if you're flying into the latter, just make sure you don't follow in Jordan Davis’ footsteps and land in ‘Tucson Too Late’.
Unfortunately, there is no car-parking available on-site, but there are plenty of parking garages near the venue in Old Town Scottsdale, which is a mere fifteen minute walk from the festival grounds.
In addition, there are a number of bus routes that'll take you within walking distance of the Scottsdale Civic Center - for instance, the No. 72 runs through Scottsdale Road & 1st Avenue, and the No. 41 will bring you to Indian School Road & Drinkwater Boulevard, both of which are very close to the festival grounds.
If you wanted to go all-out with the outlaw country-and-western theme, it would be pretty darn cool to travel to Dreamy Draw in a horse and wagon. But alas, wagons are included on the list of forbidden items, so we suggest you opt for a car or bus instead.
Yes! Not only can children attend Dreamy Draw, but anyone under the age of 6 will gain free entry to the festival.
And no, before you ask, it's not worth shaving off your beard and donning a onesie to try and pass as an infant.
Sadly, re-entry won't be permitted at Dreamy Draw Music Festival. Once you walk back out of those gates, the security will effectively be serenading you with Midland's ‘Adios Cowboy’.
There will be a sprawling medley of food and drink options dotted around the festival grounds, with an assemblage of water refilling stations also on offer throughout the Scottsdale Civic Center.
Culinarily speaking, Dreamy Draw Music Festival promises to provide a combination of Southwestern Arizona and internationally inspired cuisines. This will include BBQ options, tacos, gourmet burgers and a diverse mixture of vegan offerings.
In terms of the drinks, an assortment of craft beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic refreshments will be on-sale across the Dreamy Draw Music Festival site. Hendrick's Gin, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, NÜTRL and Bud Light are a few of Dreamy Draw's partners, with each of these brands widely available throughout the grounds.
