Ella Langley has just broken into the Billboard Hot 100.
Her newest hit, the Riley Green-assisted 'You Look Like You Love Me', debuted at No. 53. The song marks the rising star's first-ever career entry on the mainstream chart.
Taking to social media, the artist shared the news with fans, only managing the mind-blown emoji alongside the announcement.
Since its official release on June 21, 'You Look Like You Love Me' has quickly found favor among both Langley and Green fans alike. But even before then, listeners had fallen in love with the tune ever since the two began teasing the slow-burning ballad on the road.
During some of Green's Ain't My Last Rodeo tour stops, a trek on which Langley acted as support, the two Alabama natives would pull out the duet for concert-goers, giving crowds a taste of the soon-to-be Hot 100 hit.
“The song with Ella was one of those things that can only happen out on the road, out on tour, just really organically," Green explained the song's origins in an exclusive Holler interview. "I heard the song, and I think she kinda thought maybe it would be a good collaboration with somebody, so I wrote a second verse for it. It's just a really fun song. She does a great job with it, and it's definitely something that I'm sure we'll be doing together.”
