In the midst of a thrilling NFL match between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders, Dolly Parton stole the show with her half-time performance.

Dressed in the iconic Dallas Cowboys cheerleading outfit, Dolly proved why she's considered by most as the Queen of Country, delivering a stellar rendition of her smash hits, ‘Jolene’ and ‘9 to 5’, before covering Queen's ’We Are The Champions’ and ‘We Will Rock You’.

Standing proudly in front of the unmistakable Dallas Cowboys star, Dolly Parton introduced her first song with a warm welcome to the packed-out crowd at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

She then launched into a stirring version of ‘Jolene’, before dedicating her legendary second track to all the ‘9-to-5-ers’ in the audience. Ever the entertainer, Dolly Parton pivoted into an energising performance of Queen's ‘We Are The Champions’.

Dolly's take on the British band's 1997 sports anthem appeared on the global country idol's new album, Rockstar, which featured the likes of Miley Cyrus, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Chris Stapleton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sheryl Crow, P!nk, Brandi Carlile and more.

Dolly Parton concluded her blockbuster Texas performance with a truncated version of another Queen classic, ’We Will Rock You’, which caused the stadium to erupt into a sea of cheers.

Dolly's Thanksgiving set helped to kick off the Salvation Army's transformative annual red kettle campaign, which collects donations to aid those in need over the holidays, by providing toys for children, essential supplies for the homeless, food for the impoverished and more.
