Country-pop sensation Dasha is slated to make her debut on the hallowed Grand Ole Opry stage on June 15.
Over the last few months, the burgeoning singer-songwriter has been achieving milestone after milestone thanks in no small part to her breakout smash hit, 'Austin,' which she will no doubt treat the Opry crowd to during her highly-anticipated set.
“I've been thinking about the moment that I might get my chance to step into the Opry circle since I came to Nashville for the first time when I was 13,” Dasha explains. “To be asked to be a small part of country music culture, where so many artists I look up to have stood, is such an honor.”
Beyond tallying over 10 billion views on TikTok and millions of videos of fans trying their hand at its signature line dance, the song has quickly risen to No. 5 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and peaked at No. 28 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, as well as topped the UK Radio Country Airplay chart earlier this spring.
The song spawns from her country debut, What Happens Now?, which also features beloved tunes like 'King of California,' '42' and its sizzling title track.
In recent months, Dasha has been booked and busy as she's acclimated to her new position as one of the fastest-rising stars in the genre. With appearances at Stagecoach and Hangout Music Festival, as well as gracing the 2024 CMT Awards stage in April, the California native will also be on hand at CMA Fest, Lollapalooza and more throughout the summer.
With this most recent landmark in her career, Dasha joins a star-studded array of country greats of new and old who have also performed on one of the genre's most revered stages, including Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Lady A, Blake Shelton and an extensive list of others.
Also on tap to perform at the Grand Ole Opry alongside Dasha will be The Isaacs, Gary Mule Deer and Gary Burr, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
