Dasha Nabs a Pair of UK Country Radio Airplay Awards Ahead of C2C Berlin 2025

C2C is Europe and the UK's biggest country music party of the year, and what better way to start it than with honoring country-pop prodigy, Dasha.

While playing a songwriters round at The Bluebird Cafe at C2C in Berlin alongside Charlie Worsham, 49 Winchester and Max McNown, the viral hitmaker was surprised with a pair of UK Country Radio Airplay awards thanks to her blockbuster single, 'Austin.'

"I have been tasked with the awesome privilege," Worsham shared with the packed house before bringing out the trophies for highest chart reach and most weeks on the chart.

Notching 40 total weeks on the UK survey, 'Austin' totaled an astounding 22 million impressions across UK audiences over the past year. The infectious 2023 single claimed the top spot on the chart last April, and appears on the burgeoning star's acclaimed 2024 album, What Happens Now?

Spurring a viral TikTok line-dance that helped propel the beat-driven earworm up the charts in both the UK and the US, including the Billboard Hot 100, and saw thrilling performances everywhere from late night TV, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the CMT Awards and New Year's Rockin' Eve.

This is crazy. I love you. Thank you, thank you, thank you," Dasha beamed to the crowd before giving them all the credit. "Germany is one of the first placed that 'Austin' charted so shout out to all of you guys!"

Elsewhere this weekend, C2C Berlin will feature can't miss performances from the likes of Lainey Wilson, Dylan Gossett and Midland, as well as sizzling up-and-comers like Adrien Nunez, Lanie Gardner, Max McNown, Avery Anna and Graham Barham, among along list of others.

The UK Country Radio Airplay chart is the first genre-specific radio chart in the country, and is produced by Radiomonitor and the CMA's UK Task Force. The data is compiled from several UK country radio stations, including Absolute Radio Country, BBC Radio 2 - The Country Show with Bob Harris, CountryLine, Downtown Country Radio and Smooth Country Radio.
