Cross Canadian Ragweed to Regroup For Special 'Boys From Oklahoma' Show with Turnpike Troubadours

Them boys from Oklahoma may roll their joints all wrong, but they sure know how to put on a show. And that's exactly what they'll be doing in 2025.

While having cut ties back in 2010, the long-revered Red Dirt outfit, Cross Canadian Ragweed, just announced their reunion and return to the stage after more than a decade of near-radio silence.

The late '90s renegades, best known for their gritty hit 'Boys From Oklahoma', will regroup for what has been billed as a "one night only" outing alongside fellow statesmen Turnpike Troubadours.

Set to take place at Oklahoma State University's Boone Pickens Stadium on April 12, 2025, the special showcase will also feature performances from The Great Divide, Stoney LaRue, and Jason Boland & the Stragglers.

“I can’t wait to do this,” Ragweed frontman Cody Canada told Rolling Stone alongside the news. “I want to make people happy, and I want people to walk away feeling like it was 15 years ago.”

The all-day concert will take place where it all happened for the band at the turn of the millennium, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, a city that would go on to nurture the now-well-loved Red Dirt style.

“Stillwater represents a beginning — for me, personally, and for the band,” Randy Ragsdale, the band's founding drummer shared with the outlet, adding elsewhere, "I cannot think of a better place to get it going again, to bury the hatchet, to try to do this the right way, and just start over.”

Pre-sale tickets for the one-night showcase will be available starting Monday (Oct. 7) at 10 a.m. Central, with public on sale beginning Friday (Oct. 11).
