Corey Kent Strips It All Back For C2C Festival 2023 Performance

One of the many joys of attending C2C Festival, the UK's biggest country music festival, is the chance to hear artists that could well be the genre's stars of tomorrow.

Corey Kent certainly turned some heads during his performances at this year's instalment, delivering stripped-back, heartfelt renditions of much-loved tracks such as ‘Tumbleweed’.

The unassuming nature of Kent only adds to the intimacy that he laces into every set, and the Oklahoma singer-songwriter will have no doubt added a few extra UK members to his burgeoning fanbase as a result.

‘Wild As Her’, undoubtedly Kent's most recognisable hit to date, was the inevitable highlight of his sets, and the storytelling intricacy of the song was highlighted by Kent's sparse, stripped-back renditions.

After hearing Kent perform ‘Wild As Her’ live, it's no wonder his Morgan Wallen co-write continues to soar up the country charts.
