The Opry NextStage has announced its latest class of stars, presenting a talent-packed roster that includes 49 Winchester, Anne Wilson, Charles Wesley Godwin, Chase Matthew, Ella Langley, Flatland Cavalry, Josh Ross, Madeline Edwards and Wyatt Flores.
The class of 2024 was announced at a press conference in the Grand Ole Opry House at which NextStage alums Lainey Wilson and Jamey Johnson appeared to help share the news.
“I’m so honored to be announcing the Opry NextStage program class of 2024,” Wilson said of the prestigiousmoment. “As someone who was a part of the NextStage class in 2021, this is a full circle moment for me. I am such a huge fan of all of these artists, and I can’t wait to see where their musical journeys take them this year!”
Over the course of 2024, each of the nine acts will receive dedicated support from the Grand Ole Opry institution, in partnership with Tecovas. Through featured original content, performances and promotion across brand platforms, the Opry will work to elevate the NextStage class, introducing the rising talent to new fanbases, expanding their audiences and giving them tools to succeed in their careers.
Last year's class included Ernest, Megan Moroney, Ian Munsick, Ashley Cooke, Jackson Dean, Corey Kent, Chapel Hart and Kameron Marlowe, with each of these artists consolidating their positions at the forefront of the exciting new wave of artists in country.
Since 2019, the Opry NextStage program has supported a number of today’s biggest hitmakers. Past classes have included Riley Green, Parker McCollum, Tenille Townes, Priscilla Block, BRELAND, Niko Moon, Morgan Wade, Hailey Whitters, Yola and more.
