“Can I Interest You In Green Velvet?” Megan Moroney Gives Fans a Tour of Her New Tour Bus

Sporting her ‘Boys Lie’ jersey and black cowboy boots, Megan Moroney reveals what the inside of her tour bus is like – and has us in stitches whilst doing so.

The bus is decorated with accents and nods towards Moroney’s personality – "the higher the hair the closer to god" cushion – and her career. Above her seating area hangs two black and white photographs from the 2024 CMA Awards.

“Kristian Bush got them for me,” she tells the camera, “because he was like ‘you’ll always remember this moment’… it was right before I won Best New Artist and so, I don’t know, it just makes me emo cowgirl."

Moving on to her kitchen, the ‘Am I Okay?’ singer points out her homely nicknacks, including the "bless your heart" soap dish and cow hanging off the taps… “duh.” Even the dish soap is blue.

“We’ve never used the stove top, but it’s nice to have,” she laughs before diving into the bus fridges which are, of course, complete with her signature drink, Watermelon Wave Alani.

Moroney’s bus also comes with a fireplace because. “If it’s getting a little romantic, you can always… turn on the fireplace,” she stumbles as she desperately flicks through the touch screen control panel to demonstrate. Keeping cosy by the fire is her emotional support bunny that was given to her by some fans – it has ‘Am I Okay?’ embroidered on the ear and is undeniably cute.

Then we get to the good stuff – the dressing room.

Picking up a perfectly placed copy of her cover issue of Rolling Stone – “who’s this?” she jokingly poses with it – before placing it back and moving on to her "favourite part."

Moroney takes a minute to address that her old tour bus had a queen size bed but had no space to unpack her suitcase and she hated putting it on her bed because “germs freak me out”. So, new bus, new bedroom.

This time, she’s opted for a bunk bed – “one more bed means I can have one more friend on the road with me” – leaving space for a full-sized dressing room. We’re talking giant vanity, walk in shower and, of course, the Megan Moroney wardrobe of dreams.

There’s two whole drawers of ‘Boys Lie’ clothing – Moroney collaborated with Boys Lie for the release of ‘Man On The Moon,’ creating some iconic blue sweatpant sets – along with racks of outfits for her meet and greets. “I never know what I’m gonna wear,” she jokes, “until I go here and… pick something.”

Moroney concludes her bus tour with her signature pose and wave that she opens her shows with, the bus’ internal sliding doors closing her out… before opening them and giving fans a goofy wave goodbye. T
