Black Deer Festival has unveiled its third wave of 2024 artists, with Rufus Wainwright completing the headlining trio for the hotly anticipated Kent extravaganza.
Rufus Wainwright will serenade a packed-out crowd with beloved tracks such as ‘Trouble In Paradise’, ‘April Fools’, ‘Going to a Town’, ‘Hallelujah’, ‘Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk’, in addition to Wainwright's recently released cover of Lou Reed's ‘Perfect Day’.
Along with the now-completed headlining trifecta of Rufus Wainwright, Sheryl Crow and Joe Bonamassa, Black Deer Festival 2024 ticket-holders will be able to enjoy eagerly awaited sets from newly announced performers, Rosanne Cash & John Leventhal, Jade Bird, Brennen Leigh & Joshua Hedley and When Rivers Meet.
They'll join already-confirmed artists such as trailblazing UK country band, The Shires. Given the fact that the duo has been teasing new music lately, Black Deer attendees will be hoping The Shires will treat them to a preview of their rumoured upcoming project.
Also set to perform at the popular Americana festival across June 14-16th is Seasick Steve, Damian Lewis, Hermanos Gutiérrez, Courtney Barnett, Ward Thomas, The Staves, Villagers, BC Camplight, Dylan Gossett, Zandi Holup, Nat Myers and more.
Excitingly, Black Deer Festival has revealed that Holler will be hosting a stage takeover across the weekend, with the acts set to perform as part of this due to be announced at a later date.
