After debuting their unexpected new collaboration, ‘Bloodline’, at Stagecoach Festival 2025, Alex Warren and Jelly Roll have shared a clip of the studio version via socials.
The uptempo new offering has been met with a fervent response from fans, with around 2,000 TikTok videos being created using the ’Bloodline’ sound in the space of a few days.
With the momentum building behind this surprise link-up, followers are clamouring for Alex Warren and Jelly Roll to announce when ‘Bloodline’ will be made available to stream.
There's no release date yet, but Warren did hint that the track would be dropping ‘soon’, and the duo will surely want to capitalise on the hype surrounding the folk-infused earworm following their explosive Stagecoach duet and this viral teaser.
At the same time, the ever-prolific Jelly Roll joined forces with another of his Stagecoach guests, Shaboozey, for ‘Amen’ last week, so it's understandable that Jelly and Warren would want to let the dust settle on that single before dropping ‘Bloodline’.
Nonetheless, we're hoping that ‘Bloodline’, which is set to feature on the California prodigy's new album, will be arriving in the coming weeks. It's an infectious, uplifting anthem that finds Alex Warren and Jelly Roll offering words of encouragement across an energising instrumental (“Oh, my brother / You don't have to follow in your bloodline / Oh, we got each other / And if you got tomorrow, then you still got time / To break the chain that left you scarred / From whеre you came isn't who you are / Oh, my brothеr / You don't have to follow in your bloodline”).
Alex Warren is no stranger to penning viral hits, with the up-and-coming artist dropping the wildly popular ‘Ordinary’ in February. The endearing, rose-tinted ode to love has hit No. 1 in a host of countries and is now vying for the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
