The 2023 Americana Honors and Awards ceremony is less than a week away, and excitement has just reached fever pitch with the announcement of who will be performing on the big night at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

On a night that regularly welcomes one-time-only collaborations and startling tributes, the Americana Music Association have announced that Virginia's favourite sons' 49 Winchester will be performing on the night, alongside fellow Holler favourites Adeem the Artist, Allison Russell, Margo Price and The War And Treaty.

Joining them will be a broad range of popular acts, including the ever-present Brandi Carlile, Angel Olsen, The Avett Brothers, Bettye LaVette, Bonnie Raitt, Brandy Clark and Hermanos Gutiérrez.

Also appearing on the night are Logan ledger, Marty Stuart, The Milk Carton Kids, Nickel Creek, Patty Griffin, Rufus Wainwright, S.G. Goodman, Sunny War and William Prince.

The event's musical accompaniment and performances will be proceeded by the All-Star House Band, with Buddy Miller once again conducting as musical director. Within the band will be Brady Blade, Catherine Popper, Fred Eltringham, Jen Gunderman, Jim Hoke, Larry Campbell and The McCrary Sisters.

The nominees for the 22nd Annual Americana Honors & Awards have already been unveiled, with Margo Price and Charley Crockett leading the pack with three nominations each. They both received nods in the Artist, Song and Album of the year categories.

The 2023 Americana Honors and Awards kicks off at 6:30 pm CT on Wednesday, September 20 at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.
