Texas is getting another new festival this fall, following the hugely success Big As Texas Festival, which took over the Montgomery County Fairgrounds earlier this May.
Dubbed the Feels Like Home Festival, the inaugural event will be held in the small town of Brownwood on October 19. Just about an hour and a half northwest of Austin, one of country music's newest offerings will celebrate the best in the format, as well as a heavy helping of good ole Texas BBQ.
Focused on showcasing the vast amount of Texas talent in country music alongside established national touring acts, Feels Like Home Festival will see 2x Grammy-winning trio Midland headlining the one-day event. Coming just under a month after the release of their highly-anticipated new project, Barely Blue, attendees will no doubt be able to catch performances of their new music, as well as their beloved hits and fan-favorites.
“It’s an honor to headline the inaugural Feels Like Home Fest, only a couple hours from our hometown in Dripping Springs and Austin," the trio share. "There is nothing like performing for our Texas fans, we can’t wait to be in Brownwood this fall."
Joining Holler's favorite urban cowboys will be fellow Texas musicians Casey Donahew, Micky and the Motorcars and Hudson Westbrook, as well as rising singer-songwriter Tyler Halverson.

Feels Like Home festival will excitedly be taking place at the Brownwood Event Center, a brand new outdoor music venue and event center.
Originally built as a warehouse for the Radford Grocery Company in the 1920s, the building has been converted to a multipurpose event center with spaces for conventions, special events and premier concerts, beginning with Feels Like Home Festival 2024.
The lineup of mouth-watering BBQ pitmasters, the full slate of family-friendly activities, local vendors and more will be announced in the coming weeks.
